About Dr. Regan Valfer
Regan Valfer, MD, is an experienced OB/GYN at Highland Park Ob-Gyn Associates. The daughter of Steven Valfer, MD, she works alongside her father to serve multiple generations of families.
Dr. Valfer received her undergraduate degree in neuroscience from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She then attended medical school at Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine located in Maywood, Illinois. Dr. Valfer completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, Illinois.
She joined her father, Dr. Steven Valfer, in his private practice in 2007. She specializes in general obstetrics and gynecology, and has special interests in minimally invasive surgical techniques, including laparoscopy and hysteroscopy, as well as preventive medicine and adolescent health.

As a highly trained, board-certified specialist in obstetrics and gynecology, Steven Valfer, MD, brings extensive experience in the field of obstetrics and gynecology. He is dedicated to serving generations of families, from grandmothers to daughters to granddaughters.
Dr. Valfer completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Illinois and majored in biology. He then attended medical school at Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine located in Maywood, Illinois. Afterward, he completed his internship at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan, before completing his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Michael Reese Hospital in Chicago, Illinois.
He is committed to staying at the forefront of medical care while delivering exceptional and personalized patient care. He works alongside his daughter, Regan Valfer, MD, at Highland Park Ob-Gyn Associates, where they aim to treat patients like they are part of the family.
